Welcome to Lakshalaya. This website is owned and operated by Twin L Enterprises. By accessing our website and purchasing our home decor products, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Business Information

The legal entity for all transactions is Twin L Enterprises. Our registered office is located at:

1st floor, NO 4/488, Agastheeswar Nagar, 1st Street, > Pozhichalur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu – 600074, India.

2. General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks. Credit card/payment information is always encrypted during transfer over networks via our payment partner, Razorpay.

3. Accuracy of Products & Pricing

• Handcrafted Variations: Since many of our home decor products are handcrafted, slight variations in color, texture, and finish are natural and shall not be deemed as defects.
• Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
• Taxes: All prices displayed on the website are inclusive of GST unless mentioned otherwise.

4. Mandatory Unboxing Video Policy (Transit Damage)

To protect both the customer and Lakshalaya against transit-related damages, we follow a strict Mandatory Unboxing Video policy:

• The Requirement: Customers must record a continuous, uncut unboxing video starting from the moment the package is sealed until the product is fully removed and inspected.
• Damage Claims: If a product is received damaged or broken (especially fragile items like glass, ceramics, or mirrors), a claim must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery along with the unboxing video.
• Invalid Claims: In the absence of a valid unboxing video (where the seal is seen being broken on camera), we reserve the right to reject any claims for “damaged in transit” or “missing items.”

5. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to ship all orders within 3–5 business days. Estimated delivery times vary by location but usually range between 5–7 business days. Lakshalaya (Twin L Enterprises) is not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics partners or natural calamities.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details. If a transaction fails but the money is deducted from your account, it is typically refunded by the bank or the payment gateway within 5–7 working days.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
