Thank you for choosing Lakshalaya. We take great pride in ensuring your home decor products are delivered safely and efficiently. This policy details our shipping rates and delivery timelines.

1. Shipping Destinations

We ship to most pincodes across India. Currently, we do not support international shipping directly through our website. For special requests regarding international delivery, please contact us at care@lakshalaya.com.

2. Shipping Charges

We offer tiered shipping rates based on your total order value:

  • Orders of ₹1,000 and above: Enjoy FREE Shipping across India.
  • Orders below ₹1,000: A flat shipping fee of ₹79 will be added at checkout.
  • Shipping charges are clearly displayed on the checkout page before you finalize your payment.

3. Processing and Delivery Timelines

  • Processing Time: It takes us 1–3 business days to quality-check, pack, and hand over your order to our courier partners.
  • Estimated Delivery Time:
    • Within Tamil Nadu: 2–4 business days.
    • Major Metros (Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, etc.): 3–5 business days.
    • Rest of India: 5–7 business days.
  • Note: Business days do not include Sundays or Public Holidays.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email and/or SMS containing the tracking number and the name of our courier partner. You can use this to track your package until delivery.

5. Fragile Item Handling & Damage Claims

Since home decor items can be fragile, we use specialized packaging.

  • Mandatory Unboxing Video: To process any claims for transit damage, customers must record a continuous, uncut unboxing video from the moment the seal is broken. Please refer to our Refund Policy for more details.

6. Undelivered Packages

Our courier partners will make up to three attempts to deliver your package. If the delivery fails due to an incorrect address, phone number, or the recipient being unavailable, the package will be returned to our warehouse in Chennai.

  • In such cases, a re-shipping fee (₹79) will be charged to send the package back to you, even if the original order was over ₹1,000.

7. Delivery Delays

Occasional delays may occur due to weather, local restrictions, or festive season peaks. We will keep you updated via email if your order is significantly delayed.
