Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Lakshalaya, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.


1. Order Cancellations

Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, cancellations are generally not accepted as we begin processing and packaging orders promptly.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately after placing it — before the order is dispatched. We will do our best to accommodate your request if the order has not yet been shipped.


2. Returns & Replacements

(Damaged Products)

We take every precaution to ensure your products are carefully packed and delivered in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective product, we will arrange a replacement for you.

Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted only for damaged or defective products.
  • You must notify us within 7 days of delivery to be eligible for a replacement.
  • Requests raised after 7 days of delivery will not be entertained.Mandatory Unboxing VideoAs noted in our Terms & Conditions, a continuous, uncut unboxing video — recorded from the moment the package seal is broken — is required for all damage claims. Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video will not be processed.How to Raise a ReturnRequestTo initiate a return for a damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery via:

  • Your unboxing videoOnce your return request is reviewed and approved, we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost to you.

3. Refunds

We currently offer replacements, not monetary refunds, for eligible damaged product claims. In exceptional cases where a replacement is not possible, we will work with you to find a suitable resolution.

If a transaction fails during checkout but your bank account is debited, the amount is typically reversed by your bank or payment gateway within 5–7 working days. Please contact us at care@lakshalaya.com if the amount is not credited within this timeframe.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or replacement:

  • Products that are not damaged or defective
  • Items where damage is reported after 7 days of delivery
  • Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video
  • Products showing signs of misuse or damage caused after delivery
